Kuro Unokubi Zukuri 1050 Carbon Steel Katana 2

The Kuro Shinken has a very unique geometry and is one of the best handling swords we offer. Featuring an Unokubi-Zukuri style geometry, there are two bo-hi (grooves), and about 1/3 up the blade, the geometry changes into a diamond cross section. This combination makes for an exceptionally light sword. The blade is fully sharpened using a 10 stage hand polishing/sharpening process. This process creates an edge that is extremely sharp. These blades are designed for optimal balance and handling, perfect for Tameshigiri practice. Each sword has been fully handmade from start to finish so you can be sure that yours is one-of-a-kind.
